Alison - Business Manager
I have been a veterinary nurse for 25 years and worked in practices throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast. I spent 4 years in the UK working in a zoo studying zoo keeping and being their veterinary nurse on site.
Since returning to Australia 12 years ago, I have lived and worked on the Gold Coast. As a vet nurse I was not entirely happy with the pet memorial services offered to our grieving pet owners and felt we could find a better more personal and animal oriented service. I hope we have achieved this! I currently have 3 cats at home, Oska, my beautiful black and white boy, Ruby, who is on semi-permanent stay until my daughter can have her home again and a new burmese kitten called Suki who is completely taking over the house as well as the office.
I also have a border collie x Samoyed x retriever called Mica, who joined us from the pound in 2010. I also lost my Rory, my handsome, big blue boy on the 19th December 2012. Rest in peace baby! Being able to care for your pet in their final stage, with all the dignity they deserve, gives me a wonderful sense of wellbeing. The love we feel for all our pets is the most wonderful thing in the world!
Leisha works out of our Gold Coast office and you will regularly talk to her on the weekends. She has a genuine and caring nature and has a huge passion for her job of helping families through their grief. Leisha has been with us for over 4 years, working her way from a casual assistant to a highly regarded team member.
Adrian has been a veterinary nurse for many years, before deciding on a career change to join our team. He has a wonderful understanding of pets and of the difficulties associated with their passing. He is a wonderful addition to our team, with his caring and compassionate nature. Although he loves all animals, cats hold a special place in his heart.
Rosina is also another veterinary nurse, who spent her last year nursing respite pets, so has an understanding of the grief we go through at this time. She also has a menagerie of her own pets including dogs, cats and chickens.
Richard has been at Pets Eternal Peace the longest of our pet cremation consultants. He has a great love of animals, having worked for the RSPCA, Greyhound adoption program, and wildlife rescue.
Courtney has been working for Pets Eternal for 1.5 years and keeps everyone organized. You will often speak to her on the phone and she will be able to help you with anything you need. She has 12 chickens, 2 fish and a cow.
